Maryam and Isaac's Pakistani wedding at Esma Sultan Mansion brought together cherished traditions with a timeless contemporary design overlooking the Bosphorus. Set in one of Istanbul's most iconic wedding venues, every detail was thoughtfully curated to honour the couple's cultural heritage while creating an elegant and unforgettable celebration.
The religious Nikkah ceremony took place on a bespoke 15-meter mirrored ceremony aisle extending towards the Bosphorus. A custom-designed acrylic ceremony arch, paired with soft white and blush floral arrangements, created a refined setting that complemented the historic character of Esma Sultan Mansion.
For the evening reception, the mansion's iconic glass pavilion was transformed into an immersive celebration space. A mirrored dance floor and 2,000 suspended LED candles created dramatic reflections throughout the venue, while the centuries-old stone walls provided a striking backdrop that balanced tradition with modern design. A traditional Sema performance added a meaningful and spiritual dimension to the evening, perfectly complementing the atmosphere of the celebration.
Beyond its bespoke design, this project was a comprehensive wedding planning experience. From coordinating guest arrivals in Istanbul to managing every stage of the celebration, our team oversaw each detail with meticulous care. Guest hospitality, event logistics, production, and the overall flow of the wedding were planned as one seamless experience, ensuring every moment unfolded effortlessly.
Blending timeless aesthetics with meaningful traditions, this Esma Sultan Mansion wedding reflects Ruks Event & Design's bespoke approach to luxury wedding planning, where exceptional design, flawless execution, and unforgettable guest experiences come together to create celebrations that are both elegant and deeply personal.
