Timeless Grandeur Born from Simplicity at Çırağan Palace Kempinski

Melis and Kıvanç’s wedding at Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul was conceived as a bespoke luxury wedding that went beyond spectacle, defined by its soul, balance, and strong aesthetic coherence. Bringing together the historic character and grandeur of one of Istanbul’s most iconic wedding venues with a sense of quiet luxury, our aim was to create a timeless wedding design that would remain relevant and captivating long after the fleeting trends of the moment had passed.

Design Concept: A Palace Garden Inspired by Understated Elegance

The central inspiration behind the design of this special Istanbul wedding was Melis’s natural and understated beauty. Taking the powerful architecture and historic character of Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul as our starting point, we created an elegant and organic floral design composed of thousands of flower stems. We designed an atmosphere in which 250 distinguished guests could feel surrounded by a spacious, natural garden in harmony with the palace’s architecture. Rather than overshadowing the venue’s original character, the wedding décor was designed to complement and enhance it, resulting in a refined interpretation of luxury born from simplicity.

Signature Design: A Ceiling Installation of Baby’s Breath and Bespoke Lampshades

One of the most distinctive elements of the wedding design was the ceiling installation created by Ruks Event & Design using bespoke lampshades and baby’s breath flowers. Thousands of delicate baby’s breath blooms were placed inside custom-made lampshades, creating a soft, weightless, and sculptural floral installation overhead. First developed and brought to life for this celebration, the design approach later evolved into a distinctive décor trend, inspiring similar applications at events in different countries.

High-End Production: A 120-Person Operation in Eight Hours

Behind this refined visual experience was an extensive wedding production and a meticulously planned large-scale operation. The gardens of Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul were completely transformed in just eight hours by a 120-person production and operations team. The preparation and installation of thousands of flower stems, the placement of bespoke décor elements, technical production, detailed logistics planning, team coordination, and all on-site applications were managed end-to-end by Ruks Event & Design.

Guest Experience: End-to-End Planning for 250 Guests

Our luxury wedding planning process extended far beyond design and production. Guest relations began during the pre-event planning stage and continued until the end of the evening. Every detail, from welcoming 250 guests to ensuring their comfort and responding to their needs throughout the celebration, was planned and managed in advance. The evening’s timeline and flow were carefully structured to include the music groups, entertainment performances, and every transition between the different moments of the celebration, then monitored by our team throughout the night.
