Apollon Temple Private Dinner

Private Dinner at the Temple of Apollo, Didim

This exclusive private dining experience at the Temple of Apollo in Didim was one of our most distinctive projects, bringing contemporary event design into one of Turkey's most remarkable archaeological sites.

Created for 100 distinguished guests, the event featured bespoke catering prepared in a temporary off-site kitchen under the expertise of the Six Senses Kaplankaya culinary team. Every stage of the operation was carefully planned to preserve the integrity of the historic site.

A crew of 60 professionals completed the installation under the supervision of representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, regional heritage authorities and archaeologists. All equipment was lowered into the site by crane, while every item in contact with the archaeological ground was protected with custom felt padding to ensure the complete preservation of the monument.

More than 1,500 candles illuminated the temple throughout the evening, while fresh laurel branches were incorporated into the tablescape as a subtle reference to the site's natural landscape and classical heritage.

Rather than using conventional sound systems, the evening featured acoustic performances by opera singers and live musicians, creating an atmosphere that respected both the serenity and historical significance of the Didim Temple of Apollo.
